It has never been better to give back to the community by sharing and creating awareness on the importance of great health. In conjunction with Diabetes Week, Eyecon was invited to provide screening to the public in one of the prestigious and well-known hospital – Mahkota Medical Centre.
FUNDUSCOPY screening is one of the instruments to detect abnormalities at back of the eye. All visitors are advised for annual vision comprehensive examination.
Eyecon has participated as one of the sponsors of Lions Clubs International Global Causes Community Awareness Program, to provide vision screening for children. The activity was taken place at Japerun Duyong, also featured at Bernama News Channel.
In conjunction with Malaysia 62nd Merdeka and Malaysia Day celebration, Eyecon Group together with Masjid Sayyidina Ali Bukit Katil Melaka, has collaborated a CSR project for their senior citizen worshipers.
The event took place from 26th August – 8th September 2019 at Eyecon Optometry Ayer Keroh. A total of 10 senior citizen were given comprehensive vision examination and FREE prescription glasses.
Positive feedback and smiling face from the recipients has indeed proven the glasses has improve their lifestyle on reciting the Quran and prayers.
Healthy lifestyle and annual vision examination by optometrist can help improve and have early detection on visual related problem.
Hotel Equatorial Melaka, Eyecon Group & Institut Wawasan Melaka (INSWA) hosted an annual collaboration CSR Program by inviting 139 orphans, 20 senior citizens, caretakers and committee members of individual homes to join in the ‘Majlis Berbuka Puasa’ at the Equatorial Hotel Melaka’s Grand Ballroom.
During the event, Eyecon also conducted vision screening and prescription glasses to the senior citizens. A video presentation on eye care tips was also given to the children.
